Picture Description

voltage mode

by Alternate name - Wednesday, 23 December 2015, 10:31 PM
  1. a shaker amplifier mode in which the output voltage of the amplifier and thus the shaker velocity is proportional to the input voltage signal. This is in contrast to Current Mode in which the output current and thus the shaker output force is proportional to input voltage.
  2. another term for an IEPE accelerometer. This should not be confused with an accelerometer without built-in electronics connected to an external voltage amplifier.
